Having whitewashed Pakistan in
three-match one-day international series, Bangladesh will be aiming to
preserve their domination when the two sides will meet again in Mirpur
for one-off Twenty20 international.
The hosts completely outplayed a new-look Pakistan in all departments
in three-match series to register their first whitewash over their
Asian rivals.The visitors, on the other hand, will aim to put aside ODI debacle and win the T20 game to avoid further embarrassment.
Azhar Ali’s first series as skipper proved out to be a nightmare for him and veteran Shahid Afridi is set to take over reins of team from him in the shortest format.
The visitors are expected to drop under performing Mohammad Hafeez, who managed just eight runs ODI series, to pave way for the international debut of 22-year-old batsman Mukhtar Ahmed.
Ahmed Sarfraz, who was dropped for the one-dayers, is set to return to open the innings.
